Make the most of your “wait time”
As a business owner, it’s easy to feel like you never have enough time to get everything done in a day.
If finding time for a “work-life balance”, enjoying some time with family and friends, or relaxing with a hobby you enjoy seems impossible, then this post is for you. I write about different ways you can begin to save time, that you can take action on, right away.
Here we go…
Jason Womack, well-known productivity coach, has says “15-minutes can fix your time-management problem.” One way that this is possible is by being prepared to tackle small tasks during times you are waiting in a queue, stuck in traffic, waiting for an appointment, etc.
If you are prepared, you can use that wait time productively and creatively. Keeping a list of the things you can do during these times will help!
Some things you could do during this time include:
- Writing thank you notes
- Drafting some social media content
- Ordering your food shop
- Doing some research online
- Listening to a podcast or audiobook
- Making phone calls
- Clearing some emails
- Organising your calendar
It’s incredible how much you can accomplish in the time that you’d otherwise spend just waiting around.
